Hello and welcome to my website! Grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair and read through what I provide. I offer a full range of restoration work to hand planes, hand drills, and various other woodworking hand tools as well as a full sharpening service for plane irons, chisels, and jointer and planer knives.

   Now a word about my Tools for Sale page, you will not find the multitude of tools like you would from other dealer's websites. I offer only a few tools at a time due to the amount of labor it takes to get them to my level of satisfaction. There are only a few of us tool restorers out there that take their work to this level!   
     
   Have you been to a yard or estate sale and have purchased some old neglected tools that you'd like to use? I would be delighted to bring them back to life for you. The tool services I provide have been broken down into three levels of work each of which is fully explained on the Shop Prices page; I invite you to contact me for a personal quote. I guarantee you WILL BE AMAZED when you get them back!

      Another service I provide is finding tools; here is how that works: let's say you are looking for a Stanley no.7 jointer plane for your shop. You let me know what you want, the price range you feel comfortable with, and I'll find you one; it will arrive to you cleaned, sharp and ready for work. I spend on average 2-3 hrs each day pouring over sites on the Internet and would be happy to help you find what you need.
